Question 1: What is Tap Retail?
Answer 1: Tap Retail is a platform where you can purchase from local stores and either have your order delivered on the same day, in a timeslot of your choosing or collect your order from the store in question. We currently deliver to customers who are located within a 5 km radius of the store in question.

Question 2: Can I order from multiple stores in one checkout?
Answer 1: Yes, in some locations we support purchases from multiple stores in one checkout. Each order placed on the platform will be individually sent to the retailers in question.

Question 3: How is Tap Retail different from other delivery services?
Answer 1: Tap Retail was created to give local retailers, small and large, a centralised, online platform where they can list, advertise and ultimately sell their products. We aim to supercharge the online shopping experience, making the contents of stores discoverable and available for delivery to local consumers located within a 5 km radius of their store. On Tap Retail, you can browse and shop from multiple local stores in one seamless checkout.

Question 4: Can I search for a specific item in a defined location?
Answer 1: Yes. You will be able to search the contents of all stores on our platform up to a max 10 km radius of your location. This means that if you see something you like, you can order an item, pay for it & either collect or have it delivered to you on the same day or at a timeslot of your choosing.

Question 5: Why are there cut-off times for delivery slots?
Answer 1: On Tap Retail, we implement cut-off times for our delivery and collection slots as per the retailers’ operating hours and capacity. When this cut-off time has passed, you will not be able to place an order for that timeslot. We implement these cut-off times for the benefit of our retail partner stores & delivery riders. This gives our partner stores sufficient time to gather the items in your order and have them ready for delivery or collection. Please note that cut-off times and delivery slots may vary depending on the retailers’ opening hours and policies.

Question 6: Can I order for tomorrow on Tap Retail?
Answer 1: Yes, on Tap Retail, you can order for delivery tomorrow. In fact, you can place an order for up to 7 days in advance.
